* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN KANE COUNTY IN UTAH
  WASHINGTON COUNTY IN UTAH
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF ST. GEORGE

* UNTIL 1000 PM MDT

* AT 350 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER WASHINGTON COUNTY AND WESTERN KANE COUNTY. 

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO            
  ORDERVILLE...MT CARMEL...ZION NATIONAL PARK...ALTON...KANAB AND ST 
  GEORGE.

AROUND AN INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE HEADWATERS OF THE BEAVER 
DAM WASH AND OTHER WASHES AND CREEKS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY. HEAVY 
RAIN IS NOW FALLING IN WESTERN KANE COUNTY AND WILL CONTINUE OVER 
THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL THIS AFTERNOON WILL CAUSE 
FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. 
ADDITIONALLY...ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF 
CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
