THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  CHRISTIAN COUNTY IN MISSOURI.

* UNTIL 815 PM CDT.

* AT 705 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS
  STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR GALENA...OR ABOUT 17 MILES NORTHWEST OF
  BRANSON...AND MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF SOUTHEASTERN
  CHRISTIAN COUNTY...INCLUDING THE TOWNS OF SPOKANE...
  CHESTNUTRIDGE...CHADWICK AND GARRISON.

SEVERAL SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED A PERSISTENT ROTATING WALL CLOUD WITH 
THIS STORM.  RESIDENTS NEAR PONCE DE LEON AND CHESTNUTRIDGE SHOULD 
TAKE COVER NOW.
