THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TANEY COUNTY IN MISSOURI.

* UNTIL 700 AM CDT.

* AT 1249 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
  INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING INTO
  WESTERN TANEY COUNTY.  A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN
  EXTENDED WELL SOUTHWEST INTO WESTERN ARKANSAS AND EASTERN
  OKLAHOMA.  THIS BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL EVENTUALLY PUSH
  NORTHEAST INTO THE AREA.  AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO THREE INCHES
  OF RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY
  PUSH ACROSS ALREADY SATURATED GROUND.

* THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA.
  RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
  OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING
  INCLUDE...BRANSON...TANEYVILLE...ROCKAWAY BEACH...MERRIAM
  WOODS...  HOLLISTER...FORSYTH...WALNUT SHADE...TABLE
  ROCK...RUETER...  PROTEM...POWERSITE AND KISSEE MILLS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE 
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS 
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
