THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BLACKSBURG HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL VIRGINIA

* UNTIL 930 PM EDT

* AT 828 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL.  THIS
  STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR AJAX...OR ABOUT OVER PENHOOK...AND MOVING  
  EAST AT 5 MPH. ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM WAS QUICKLY DEVELOPING IN THE 
  NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY NEAR HURT. IT WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 15 
  MPH. IT ALSO MAY INCREASE TO SEVERE LEVELS WITH HAIL BEING THE 
  MAIN CONCERN.
