THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL LYON COUNTY IN WESTERN NEVADA
  CENTRAL STOREY COUNTY IN WESTERN NEVADA

* UNTIL 1115 PM PDT

* AT 841 PM PDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLASH   
FLOODING FROM A THUNDERSTORM IN THE CITY OF STAGECOACH.

* THE STORM THAT PRODUCED THE FLASH FLOODING IS WEAKENING BUT AREAS 
IN AND AROUND STAGECOACH WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS AROUND STAGECOACH. MANY STREETS IN STAGECOACH ARE 
UNDERWATER. SOME OF THESE AREAS INCLUDE IROQUOIS TRAIL...THE APACHE 
AREA...THE RAINDANCE AREA AND BOYER LANE.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
