* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN MONROE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 745 PM EDT

* AT 654 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY SIZE HAIL.  THIS
  STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR MOUNTAINHOME...OR ABOUT 27 MILES
  SOUTHEAST OF SCRANTON...AND MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS
  WITH POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING IS LIKELY WITH THESE STORMS. 

IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS...CONTINUOUS CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. MOVE INDOORS
IMMEDIATELY LIGHTNING IS ONE OF NATURES NUMBER ONE KILLERS.
