THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS EXTENDED THE

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN BREVARD COUNTY
  EAST CENTRAL ORANGE COUNTY
  SOUTHEASTERN VOLUSIA COUNTY
  IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

* UNTIL 130 PM EDT

* AT 1222 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
A LINE OF STORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING TORNADOS EXTENDING FROM THE 
BEELINE EXPRESSWAY SOUTH OF CHRISTMAS...EXTENDING NORTHEAST TO 
EDGEWATER.  THE STORM CELLS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 40 MPH.

* THE STORMS WILL AFFECT THIS AREA THROUGH 130 PM.  RESIDENTS SHOULD 
TAKE COVER IMMEDIATLY IF STORMS THREATEN YOUR AREA.  

TORNADOES ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL CYCLONES ARE OFTEN WRAPPED IN
HEAVY RAIN AND ARE HARD TO SEE OR HEAR UNTIL THEY ARE VERY CLOSE. DO
NOT GET CAUGHT OFFGUARD
