THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN OSCEOLA COUNTY
  IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

* UNTIL 745 PM EDT

* AT 539 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A          
  THUNDERSTORM THAT WAS PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES OF TWO TO THREE     
  INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER THE PAST HOUR. AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO    
  INCHES IS POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNSET. ST CLOUD FIRE RESCUE REPORTED
  MANY ROADS WERE IMPASSABLE WITH WATER BEGINNING TO COME INTO       
  HOMES.  

EXCESSIVE RAINFALL FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF 
STREETS...INTERSECTIONS...AND OTHER LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE 
AREAS. DRIVERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION. IT IS EASY TO LOSE 
CONTROL OF YOUR VEHICLE AND HYDROPLANE. IS IS NOT SAFE TO USE CRUISE 
CONTROL ON RAIN SOAKED ROADS.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU
ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. RESIDENTS
LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS TO
PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING
WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR
VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
