THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GREEN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF MONROE

* UNTIL 1015 PM CDT

* AT 710 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  FLASH FLOODING FROM A THUNDERSTORM 7 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MONROE...  
  MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH.

DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE LAST 
HOUR OVER SOUTHWEST GREEN COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 
TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF THE COUNTY 
THROUGH 8 PM. THIS WILL RESULT IN SEVERE FLASH FLOODING  

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
