NORTHWESTERN PECOS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS * UNTIL 330 PM CDT * AT 1120 AM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF FM 1776 IN NORTHWESTERN PECOS COUNTY REMAINS CLOSED FROM HIGH WATER. RUNOFF FROM THUNDERSTORMS EARLIER THIS MORNING WILL CONTINUE TO POSE FLASH FLOODING PROBLEMS ALONG AND NEAR FM 1776 THROUGH MID AFTERNOON. MOST FLOODING DEATHS ARE PREVENTABLE...AND MANY OCCUR WHEN MOTORISTS DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS. IT IS NEVER SAFE TO DRIVE ON FLOODED ROADS.
