THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN INDIANAPOLIS HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DAVIESS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA
  GREENE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA
  KNOX COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF VINCENNES
  MARTIN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA
  SULLIVAN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA

* UNTIL 400 AM EST

* EVEN THOUGH RAINFALL WAS DIMINISHING ACROSS SOUTHWEST AND WEST 
  CENTRAL INDIANA...SEVERAL AREAS IN SULLIVAN...GREENE AND KNOX 
  COUNTIES WERE STILL REPORTING FLOOD PROBLEMS.  THUS THE FLASH
  FLOOD WARNING WILL BE EXTENDED UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE 
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS 
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
