  BLADEN COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 645 PM EDT

* AT 602 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY SIZE
  HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE
  LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM WHITE OAK TO 12 MILES SOUTH OF
  CLARKTON...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 14 MILES NORTHWEST OF
  ELIZABETHTOWN TO WHITEVILLE...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.
