THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HONOLULU HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  OAHU...WAIAWA...PALISADES...PEARL CITY AREA

* UNTIL 530 PM HST

* AT 212 PM HST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM A STORM OVER PALISADES...OR 10 MILES 
  NORTHWEST OF HONOLULU. THE STORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH 
  BUT NEW CELLS ARE FORMING UPWIND OF THE AREA AND SO RAINFALL IS 
  CONTINUING HEAVY OVER THE SAME AFFECTED AREA.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF STREAMS
AND COULD ALSO TRIGGER ROCK AND MUDSLIDES IN STEEP TERRAIN.
