THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FLAGSTAFF HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL YAVAPAI COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARIZONA
  THIS INCLUDES THE COMMUNITY OF BLACK CANYON CITY

* UNTIL 330 PM MST

* AT 1230 PM MST...BLACK CANYON CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORTED THE 
  BLACK CANYON RIVER AT BLACK CANYON CITY OUT OF ITS BANKS.

FLOOD WATERS ARE MOVING DOWN THE BLACK CANYON RIVER AND WILL 
CONTINUE TO AFFECT BLACK CANYON CITY FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS. 
INCREASED FLOW AND FLOODING MAY ALSO OCCUR ALONG THE AGUA FRIA 
RIVER...THE HASSAYAMPA RIVER...HUMBUG CREEK AND TURKEY CREEK.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...ROADS...AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS. ADDITIONALLY...OTHER LOW 
LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS 
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE 
YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. VEHICLES 
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER 
GROUND.
