THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  VAL VERDE

* UNTIL 745 PM CDT

* AT 448 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM A THUNDERSTORM 13 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
  COMSTOCK...MOVING NORTH AT 5 MPH.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE PANDALE...LOMA ALTA...
  LAUGHLIN AFB AND JUNO.

ADDITIONAL RAINS ARE EXPECTED INTO TONIGHT WHICH WILL ONLY AGGRAVATE
FLASH FLOODING.  

LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTS THAT HIGHWAYS 163 AND 1024 OUT OF 
COMSTOCK WERE CLOSED DUE TO WATER ON THE ROAD. 

FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED AREAS. A LITTLE
OVER A FOOT OF WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST CARS AND TRUCKS. TURN AROUND
