THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  BURNET

* UNTIL 1215 AM CST

* AT 923 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THIRD ROUND 
  OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH AROSS WESTERN BURNET 
  COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES SUGGEST EVENING RAINFALL TOTALS
  UP TO 4 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN SHORES OF LAKE 
  BUCHANAN.

THIS LAST ROUND OF SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE RAINFALL 
AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES AS IT ADDS TO THE HEAVY RAINFALL 
TOTALS THAT OCCURRED WITHIN THE PAST 3 HOURS. RUNOFF PROBLEMS OVER 
MAINLY THE WESTERN HALF OF BURNET COUNTY IS IMMINENT. TRAVEL 
IS DISCOURAGED LATE THIS EVENING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

* AT 1225 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAINS FROM NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WARNED AREA.

RADAR ESTIMATES AND PUBLIC RAINFALL REPORTS SUGGEST 2 INCHES OF RAIN 
HAS ALREADY FALLEN NEAR KENEDY. STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO 
TRAIN OVER THE SAME AREAS OF KARNES COUNTY. SPOTTY RAINFALL AMOUNTS 
OF 3 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY 130 PM...AND THIS WOULD RESULT IN 
FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS AND STREAMS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND OTHER 
LOW LYING AREAS.

FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED AREAS. A LITTLE
OVER A FOOT OF WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST CARS AND TRUCKS. TURN AROUND
- DONT DROWN.
