* AT 815 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS LEAVENWORTH 
  COUNTY. RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES HAVE FALLEN ACROSS 
  CENTRAL LEAVENWORTH COUNTY. 

* ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO 
  CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS LEAVENWORTH COUNTY THROUGH 10 AM. THIS 
  WILL LIKELY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING ALONG AREA CREEKS AND

MORE THAN TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER LEAVENWORTH COUNTY 
THIS MORNING RESULTING IN DITCHES RUNNING FULL. THE HEAVIEST 
RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED OVER THE STRANGER CREEK, LITTLE SANDY 
CREEK...AND MURRAY CREEK WATERSHEDS IN CENTRAL LEAVENWORTH COUNTY. 
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL MAY OCCUR OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS WHICH COULD 
AGGRAVATE FLOODING.


EXCESSIVE RUNOFF MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND 
FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING 
AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS. ONE TO TWO FEET OF WATER CAN 
FLOAT MOST VEHICLES.
