MORTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS. STANTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS. * UNTIL 915 PM CDT * AT 837 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL...AND DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THIS STORM WAS CENTERED 9 MILES SOUTH OF JOHNSON CITY...MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. * LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... RURAL AREAS OF MORTON COUNTY... RURAL AREAS OF STANTON COUNTY... JOHNSON CITY...
