THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TIOGA COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 800 PM EDT.

* AT 200 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLOODING 
ALREADY OCCURRING JUST OUTSIDE OF WELLSBORO.  TWO ROADS WERE ALREADY 
BEING CLOSED BY THE AUTHORITIES DUE TO HIGH WATER.  THUNDERSTORMS 
WITH HEAVY RAINFALL WERE NEARLY STATIONARY FROM NORTHEAST TO 
SOUTHWEST ACROSS THE CENTRAL PART OF THE COUNTY.

HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING FLASH FLOODING AROUND WELLSBORO. SOME 
STREAMS THAT WILL BE ESPECIALLY HARD HIT INCLUDE HILLS 
CREEK...WILSON CREEK...CHARLESTON CREEK AND NORTH ELK RUN.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
