LEBANON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
* UNTIL 1130 PM EDT.
* AT 526 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
SEVERAL THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL.
SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN
SCHUYLKILL AND LEBANON COUNTIES. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL
WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING IN THE SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL SCHUYLKILL
COUNTY...AND EASTERN LEBANON COUNTY. SOME LOCATIONS THAT ARE
THREATENED INCLUDE SUMMIT STATION AND SCHUYLKILL HAVEN...AS WELL AS
MYERSTOWN. OVER 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THESE
LOCATIONS...WITH ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE IN NEXT HOUR. MORE
HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR THROUGH THIS EVENING.
