THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CRAWFORD COUNTY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 300 PM EDT

* AT 1202 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED PERSISTENT HEAVY 
RAIN OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF CRAWFORD COUNTY THAT WAS NEARLY 
STATIONARY. RAINFALL RATES OF 1.5 TO 2.5 INCHES PER HOUR ARE 
INDICATED BY RADAR. 

* HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 3PM WITH AN ADDITIONAL 
ACCUMULATION UP TO TWO INCHES. THIS WILL RESULT IN WIDESPREAD FLASH 
FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW-LYING AREAS. 
SOME STREAMS AFFECTED BY THE RAIN INCLUDE OIL CREEK...SUGAR CREEK 
AND WOODCOCK CREEK NEAR GUYS MILLS...COCHRANTON AND TITUSVILLE.

MUDSLIDES MAY ALSO OCCUR.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY.

AT 119 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
ANOTHER BAND OF VERY HEAVY RAIN SLOWLY MOVING NORTH INTO CRAWFORD 
COUNTY WITH RAINFALL RATES IN EXCESS OF 3 INCHES PER HOUR. 

ANOTHER 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS EASTERN 
CRAWFORD COUNTY WHICH WILL LEAD TO SERIOUS FLOODING IN LOW-LYING 
AREAS OF  COCHRANTON...TROY CENTER AND TITUSVILLE

RADAR INDICATED STORM TOTAL RAINFALL HAS INCREASED TO 4 TO 6 INCHES 
ACROSS EASTER CRAWFORD COUNTY.


EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL CAUSE LOCAL FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. MUD SLIDES CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED. 
ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS 
AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
