THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CRAWFORD COUNTY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA...

* UNTIL 815 AM EDT

* AT 507 AM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT AS MUCH AS 3.5 
INCHES OF RAINFALL MAY HAVE FALLEN IN PARTS OF SOUTH CENTRAL 
CRAWFORD COUNTY SOUTH OF MEADVILLE SINCE MIDNIGHT.  ADDITIONAL 
THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE ANOTHER INCH OF RAINFALL EARLY THIS 
MORNING.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS
  CONNEAUTVILLE
  LINESVILLE
  MEADVILLE
  SPARTANSBURG
  TITUSVILLE

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING HAS EXPIRED FOR CRAWFORD COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA.

AT 815 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED SOME 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE NORTHERN PORTION OF CRAWFORD 
COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA. THE RAIN WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. DURING THE 
NIGHT SOME AREAS FROM MEADVILLE SOUTH MAY HAVE RECEIVED UP TO 5 
INCHES OF RAIN. SOME ROAD FLOODING WAS REPORTED FROM MEADVILLE SOUTH.

ANY FLOODING THAT IS CONTINUING WILL SLOWLY RECEDE SINCE THE HEAVY 
RAINS HAS ENDED. IN THE MEANTIME MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE THROUGH 
FLOODED ROADS AS THE WATER MAY BE DEEPER THAN YOU THINK.

THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES FOR TODAY. PEOPLE 
IN CRAWFORD COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR THE 
POTENTIAL FOR MORE FLOODING.
