THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CRAWFORD COUNTY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA...

* UNTIL 430 AM EDT

* AT 1222 AM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF         
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH CRAWFORD COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA. WITH THE 
GROUND SATURATED EVEN AN INCH OF RAIN IN LESS THAN AN HOUR CAN CAUSE 
SOME FLASH FLOODING.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS
  CONNEAUTVILLE
  LINESVILLE
  MEADVILLE

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR CRAWFORD COUNTY HAS EXPIRED...
...THE FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR CRAWFORD COUNTY TODAY AND
   TONIGHT...

AT 430 AM...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THE THUNDERSTORMS WHICH 
BROUGHT HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE COUNTY HAD MOVED EAST AND WEAKENED.   

THERE IS STILL A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH EARLY MORNING 
HOURS.  SINCE THE GROUND IS SATURATED...ANY HEAVY RAIN COULD RESULT 
IN ADDITIONAL FLOODING. RESIDENTS IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD 
REMAIN ALERT.
