THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEVADA

* UNTIL 600 PM PDT

* AT 345 PM PDT...DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES INDICATED 
  VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER WEST SUMMERLIN AND NORTHWEST LAS VEGAS.
  THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH.

UP TO HALF-AN-INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN 10 MINUTES AT SOME 
AUTOMATED GAUGES. AS THIS STORM MOVES OVER THE WEST AND NORTHWEST 
PARTS OF THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY...EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING OF STREETS...UNDERPASSES AND LOW LYING AREAS. NORMALLY DRY 
WASHES WILL FILL QUICKLY WITH SWIFT FLOWING WATER.
