THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEVADA

* UNTIL 945 PM PDT

* AT 652 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A 
THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN 4 MILES WEST OF CALIENTE...MOVING 
MOVING SOUTH AT 10 MPH.

RADAR ESTIMATES OF UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE LAST 
HOUR FORM THIS STORM. A PREVIOUS STORM FROM AN HOUR AGO HAS LEFT AN 
ESTIMATED 2.5 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN IN THE SAME AREA ALREADY. LOW 
LYING AREAS AND WASHES ALONG THE U.S. HIGHWAY 93 FROM CALIENTE TO 
PANACA IS PARTICULARLY VULNERABLE TO FLASH FLOODING.   

NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO WASH MOST CARS AWAY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
