THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL NYE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEVADA
  EXTREME WEST CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEVADA

* UNTIL 515 PM PDT

* AT 219 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A 
  LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG SR160 FROM        
  PAHRUMP TO THE SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE CLARK COUNTY LINE. THE         
  STORMS ARE MOVING NORTHWEST AT 15 MPH. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF WASHES 
AND NARROW CANYONS. THE HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO TRIGGER ROCK AND 
MUDSLIDES IN STEEP TERRAIN.

NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO WASH MOST CARS AWAY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
