THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BERRIEN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA
  THIS INCLUDES NASHVILLE

* UNTIL 115 AM EDT

* AT 1112 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES FROM THREE TO SIX INCHES  
  OF RAIN FELL DURING THE PAST THREE HOURS. AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO     
  TWO INCHES IS LIKELY DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS. COUNTY OFFICIALS
  REPORTED ALL RURAL ROADS UNDER WATER. ALSO...FLOODING WAS REPORTED
  ON HIGHWAYS 129 AND 168 FROM NASHVILLE TO ALAPAHA.

* DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
  ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
  CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
  QUICKLY. IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO SWEEP MOST
  CARS AWAY. REMEMBER...MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.

* RESIDENTS IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS
  AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND SHOULD FLOOD WATERS
  THREATEN. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY MOVE TO
  HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.

* DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOWING WATER. NEARLY HALF OF ALL FLOOD
  FATALITIES ARE VEHICLE RELATED.
