THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL IRON COUNTY IN UTAH
  NORTHWESTERN KANE COUNTY IN UTAH
  EAST CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTY IN UTAH

* UNTIL 800 PM MDT

* AT 6 PM MDT...THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY OVER THE WARNING AREA HAS      
  DIMINISHED. HOWEVER...RUNOFF FROM THE STORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 
  THESE DRAINAGES FOR APPROXIMATELY THE NEXT TWO HOURS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING ON THE VIRGIN RIVER...DEEP CREEK...AND ORDERVILLE CANYON 
AND OTHER TRIBUTARIES IN THE WATERSHED. THIS WARNING INCLUDES ZION 
NATIONAL PARK DOWNSTREAM TO SPRINGDALE. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK
HIGHER GROUND.
