THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GREGG COUNTY IN NORTHEAST TEXAS

* UNTIL 1100 PM CDT

* AT 706 PM CDT...THE SHREVEPORT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR       
  INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER MUCH OF GREGG COUNTY...INCLUDING    
  LONGVIEW...MOVING VERY SLOWLY NORTH.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF OVER 
  TWO INCHES HAVE BEEN OBSERVED IN LONGVIEW.  ANOTHER INCH OR MORE   
  OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM BEFORE IT DISSIPATES.   
  LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED STREETS ARE BECOMING WATER                    
  COVERED...ESPECIALLY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE CITY.  RESIDENTS ARE 
  URGED TO AVOID TRAVEL UNTIL THE WATER RECEDES.

CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PLAY IN OR NEAR DRAINAGE DITCHES...OR STORM
DRAINS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
