  WESTERN BEDFORD COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL VIRGINIA

* UNTIL 600 PM EDT

* AT 437 PM EDT...A TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTER REPORTED FLOODING ALONG     
  BEAVER DAM CREEK JUST EAST OF STEWARTSVILLE. RUNOFF FROM EARLIER      
  HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS AND        
  STREAMS OVER WESTERN BEDFORD COUNTY.


DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE

AT 533 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THE 
RAINFALL HAS ENDED ACROSS THE WARNED AREA...AND THE FLOOD THREAT WAS 
DIMINISHING. THE BEDFORD COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED SOME MINOR FLOODING 
ALONG THE GOOSE CREEK AT HIGHWAY 24...BUT THAT THE WATER WAS 
RECEDING QUICKLY. EARLIER...FLOODING WAS REPORTED ALONG THE BEAVER 
DAM CREEK EAST OF STEWARTSVILLE. WHILE SOME MINOR FLOODING MAY 
CONTINUE IN LOW LYING AREAS UNTIL 6PM...THE THREAT OF SERIOUS 
FLOODING HAS ENDED. THUS...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS BEING CANCELED.
