BACA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO * UNTIL 730 PM MDT * AT 628 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 13 MILES SOUTHWEST OF STONINGTON...OR ABOUT 25 MILES WEST OF ELKHART...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED WILL BE... STONINGTON AROUND 650 PM MDT AT THIS TIME THE MOST LIKELY KIND OF SEVERE WEATHER IS HAIL ONE TO TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER AND DAMAGING WINDS OVER 70 MPH. GET INDOORS AND IN AN INTERIOR ROOM AWAY FROM WINDOWS. A BASEMENT CAN OFFER THE BEST PROTECTION. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
