* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  KIOWA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO
  PROWERS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO

* UNTIL 500 PM MDT

* AT 353 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THE
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 3 MILES NORTHEAST OF WILEY...OR ABOUT 9
  MILES NORTHWEST OF LAMAR...MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED WILL BE...
  QUEENS RESERVOIR AROUND 400 PM MDT
  TOWNER AROUND 440 PM MDT

AT THIS TIME THE MOST LIKELY KIND OF SEVERE WEATHER IS HAIL ONE TO
TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER AND DAMAGING WINDS OVER 70 MPH. GET INDOORS
AND IN AN INTERIOR ROOM AWAY FROM WINDOWS. A BASEMENT CAN OFFER THE
BEST PROTECTION.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. THIS IS A
DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORM WHICH COULD INTENSIFY AND PRODUCE A TORNADO
WITH LITTLE WARNING GET INDOORS AND IN AN INTERIOR ROOM AWAY FROM
WINDOWS. A BASEMENT CAN OFFER THE BEST PROTECTION.
