THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL RIVERSIDE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA

* UNTIL 445 PM PDT

* AT 200 PM PDT...THE PUBLIC REPORTED A FLASH FLOOD OVER CENTRAL  
  RIVERSIDE COUNTY IN THE JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK AND TWENTY NINE 
  PALMS CITY AREAS.  THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN WAS NEARLY STATIONARY.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD IN THE 
AREA THROUGH 445 PM. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.
