THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN CARBON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 415 PM EDT.

* AT 111 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A NEARLY STATIONARY
  THUNDERSTORM ALONG THE CARBON AND LUZERNE COUNTY BORDER. RECENT
  HEAVY RAINS HAVE LEFT THE GROUND SATURATED AND ESTIMATED STORM TOTALS
  OF TWO AND A HALF INCHES SINCE NOON WILL BE ENOUGH TO START FLOODING
  OF STREAMS IN THE AREA.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
