THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MERCER COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW JERSEY

* UNTIL 800 PM EST.

* AT 200 PM EST...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN 
  CONTINUED TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION. THE ASSUNPINK CREEK IN
  TRENTON IS EXPECTED TO REACH FLOOD STAGE BEFORE 3 PM. OTHER 
  SMALL STREAM...POOR DRAINAGE AND BASEMENT FLOODING WILL OCCUR
  IN THE COUNTY. THE ASSUNPINK CREEK IS EXPECTED TO CREST BETWEEN
  9 AND 10 FEET THIS EVENING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE
YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER
DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.
