THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WARREN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST NEW JERSEY
  HUNTERDON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST NEW JERSEY

* UNTIL 100 AM EDT.

* AT 845 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT SHOWERS AND 
THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING TO BUILD INTO THE REGION FROM THE 
SOUTHWEST.  HEAVY RAIN WILL FALL OVER THE SAME LOCATIONS THAT WERE 
AFFECTED ON MONDAY EVENING.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AT LEAST ONE TO TWO 
INCHES WILL BE COMMON TONIGHT.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER 
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL MIDNIGHT FOR UPPER MONTGOMERY 
COUNTY AND UPPER BUCK COUNTY IN PENNSYLVANIA...

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 100 AM FOR HUNTERDON COUNTY 
IN NEW JERSEY...

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 200 AM FOR SOMERSET COUNTY 
AND FOR MORRIS COUNTY IN NEW JERSEY...

THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAIN, AT LEAST FOR THE OVERNIGHT, HAS 
DIMINISHED IN NORTHAMPTON COUNTY AND IN WARREN COUNTY.  AS A RESULT, 
THE FLASH WARNING HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED IN THOSE COUNTIES.  HOWEVER, 
A FLOOD WATCH REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL 
HEAVY RAIN DURING THE NEXT TWO DAYS.

THE FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE UPPER PARTS OF 
MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND BUCKS COUNTY IN PENNSYLVANIA.  THE FLASH FLOOD 
WARNINGS ALSO REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE NEW JERSEY COUNTIES OF 
HUNTERDON, MORRIS AND SOMERSET.

WHERE THE WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT THERE CONTINUES TO BE THE 
POTENTIAL FOR SOME HEAVY DOWNPOURS OVERNIGHT AS ADDITIONAL SHOWERS 
AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVE UP FROM THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST.  EXCESSIVE 
RUNOFF FROM THOSE STORMS MAY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS 
AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.  ADDITIONALLY COUNTRY ROADS 
AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW 
LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
