THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DELAWARE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 600 PM EST.

* AT 154 PM EST...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN 
  CONTINUED TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 
  PERSONNEL WAS REPORTING THAT THE DARBY CREEK WAS RUNNING 
  VERY HIGH. HEAVY RAIN SHOULD BEGIN TO EXIT DURING THE NEXT
  ONE TO TWO HOURS...BUT RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVY RAIN AND SNOW MELT
  WILL LIKELY PRODUCE STREAM FLOODING AS WELL AS POOR DRAINAGE
  AND BASEMENT FLOODING.


EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE
YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER
DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.
