THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON NY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  UNION COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY

* UNTIL 1215 PM EST

* AT 918 AM EST...THE RAHWAY RIVER AT SPRINGFIELD NJ WAS AT 5.79 
FEET AND RISING. FLOOD STAGE IS 5.50 FEET. FLASH FLOODING IS 
EXPECTED ALONG THE RAHWAY RIVER INTO EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.    

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. 
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
