CANNON COUNTY IN TENNESSEE THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF WOODBURY * UNTIL 345 PM CDT * AT 1238 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE NORTHERN TWO THIRDS OF CANNON COUNTY. RADAR HAS ESTIMATED THAT 2 TO 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN DURING THE PAST HOUR. THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO TRAIN ACROSS CANNON COUNTY. COMMUNITIES SUCH AS WOODBURY AND GASSAWAY ARE IN THE WARNED AREA. IT APPEARS THAT DRY CREEK AND WILMOUTH CREEK ARE THE MOST AFFECTED. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES, DIPS, OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
