* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  DELTA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN

* UNTIL 945 PM EDT

* AT 855 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 6 MILES SOUTHEAST OF POWERS...OR ABOUT 18 MILES
  SOUTHWEST OF ESCANABA. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES
  AN HOUR.

* SOME LOCATIONS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...
  RURAL SOUTHWESTERN DELTA COUNTY

AT 840 PM EDT SKYWARN SPOTTERS REPORTED ONE AND A QUARTER INCH HAIL 
WAS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM. SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY

THIS THUNDERSTORM IS CAPABLE OF CAUSING 70 MPH WIND GUSTS AND HAIL 
UP TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER. WIND SPEEDS AND HAIL OF THIS MAGNITUDE 
CAN CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO STRUCTURES AND VEHICLES. REMAIN 
INDOORS AND MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR UNTIL THE 
STORM HAS PASSED.
