  ESCAMBIA COUNTY IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA

  SANTA ROSA COUNTY IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF NAVARRE
  ESCAMBIA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA

  BALDWIN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA

* AT 900 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED BANDS OF   
  VERY HEAVY RAIN MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH ACROSS THE AREA.  

MANY AREAS HAVE REPORTED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES SINCE 
MORNING.  THE GROUND IS VERY SATURATED WITH MANY CREEKS AND STREAMS 
ALREADY AT OR ABOVE BANKFUL.  GIVEN ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 
TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE THROUGH MIDNIGHT...THE RISK OF FLASH FLOODING 
HAS BECOME MUCH MORE SIGNIFICANT.  ALREADY...SOME ROADS HAVE BEEN 
REPORTED FLOODED IN PARTS OF BALDWIN COUNTY.  THIS PROBLEM IS LIKELY 
TO WORSEN GIVEN MORE RAIN ACTIVITY MOVING IN FROM THE SOUTHWEST.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK
HIGHER GROUND.
