THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEDFORD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN SISKIYOU COUNTY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF MOUNT SHASTA

* UNTIL 1145 PM PDT

* AT 848 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL CONTINUING ACROSS THE WARNED
  AREA.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. THE LOCATION THAT WILL SEE THE MOST FLOODING IS 
  BORDERED ON THE WEST BY THE TRINITY RIVER AND ON THE EAST BY I-5
  FROM DUNSMUIR TO MOUNT SHASTA CITY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
