WEST CENTRAL COLLIER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA * UNTIL NOON EDT * AT 1005 AM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF HOURS IN THE EAST NAPLES AND GOLDEN GATE AREAS OF WESTERN COLLIER COUNTY. LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE HAS ALSO INDICATED THAT GOLDEN GATE PARKWAY ...SANTA BARBARA BLVD...AND HORSESHOE DRIVE WERE CLOSED DUE TO STANDING WATER. SOME HOMES WHERE ALSO STARTING TO SEE STANDING WATER IN BACKYARDS IN THE GOLDEN GATE REGION. SHOWERS AND POSSIBILITY OF A THUNDERSTORM SHOULD CONTINUE TO MOVE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO NORTHWARD OVER WESTERN COLLIER COUNTY THROUGH NOON.
