THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BREWSTER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT

* AT 454 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS       
  PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF BIG BEND   
  NATIONAL PARK.  MOVEMENT WAS NEARLY STATIONARY...BUT               
  ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT TO NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE    
  COUNTY IS LIKELY IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS.  SATELLITE ESTIMATES       
  INDICATE SOME LOCATIONS COULD RECEIVE 2-3 INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER  
  THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

FLOODING IN MOUNTAINOUS AREAS IS ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS. HEAVY
RAINFALL...EVEN IN THE DISTANT...CAN CREATE SUDDEN FLOWS CAPABLE OF
OVERTAKING CAMPERS AND HIKERS. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW

WATER WILL RAPIDLY FILL NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS AND DRAWS. CAMPERS AND
OTHER RECREATIONALISTS SHOULD MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW
