THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BREWSTER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT

* AT 320 PM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED WATER OVER HIGHWAY 
  90 BETWEEN ALPINE AND MARATHON. THE WATER WAS REPORTED TO BE 1 FOOT 
  DEEP OVER HIGHWAY 90 NEAR ALTUDA. AT 350 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  SCATTERED RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING ACROSS MUCH OF BREWSTER
  COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL INUNDATE ROADS AND FARM AND RANCH LAND. DO NOT
DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS NEVER ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOWING WATER

   CDT...

AT 515 PM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED WATER ONE FOOT DEEP
OVER POST ROAD...ONE MILE SOUTH OF MARATHON. AT 515 PM CDT DOPPLER
RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE SCATTERED RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
THE NORTHERN HALF OF BREWSTER COUNTY. THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION WAS
FALLING ALONG AND ADJACENT TO HIGHWAY 90 ACROSS NORTHERN BREWSTER COUNTY.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING.
