THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  HARRISON COUNTY IN SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...LONG BEACH...GULFPORT...BILOXI

* UNTIL 545 AM CDT

* AT 230 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY       
  HEAVY RAIN OVER GULFPORT AS WELL AS AREAS BETWEEN GULFPORT AND     
  BILOXI. THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN IS FORMING AND MOVING NORTH AT 10   
  MPH ACROSS THE SAME AREAS. THE GULFPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS      
  REPORTED WATER RISING TOWARD APARTMENT COMPLEXES AND OTHER HOMES   
  IN THE GULFPORT AREA. SOME AUTOMOBILES WILL ALSO BE AFFECTED AS    
  THE WATER RISES THIS MORNING. ANOTHER 2 TO 3 INCHES IS             
  EXPECTED THROUGH 545 AM CONTINUING THE FLASH FLOODING ACROSS THE   
  AREA.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING WHICH WAS IN EFFECT FOR HARRISON COUNTY 
HAS BEEN CANCELLED... 

AT 530 AM...RADAR INDICATED THAT HEAVY RAIN HAD DEMINISHED OVER THE 
AREA. HIGH WATER IS STILL POSSIBLE IN A FEW AREAS OF SOUTHERN 
HARRISON COUNTY. MOSTORISTS MAY STILL EXPERIENCE PONDING OF WATER ON 
ROADS THROUGH DAYBREAK. ALSO...MINOR FLOODING OF SOME SMALL STREAMS 
AND RIVERS IS POSSIBLE.
