THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN INDIANAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN FOUNTAIN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL INDIANA
  TIPPECANOE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL INDIANA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE

* UNTIL 1015 AM EST

* AT 705 AM EST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  THUNDERSTORMS   WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS TIPPECANOE 
  AND NORTHEASTERN FOUNTAIN COUNTY. THE STORMS EXTENDED WEST 
  INTO EASTERN ILLINOIS. 

RADAR INDICATED THAT BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES HAVE FALLEN ACROSS THE 
WARNED AREA DURING THE PAST 3 HOURS. THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN 
WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH 830 AM EST WITH AN ADDITIONAL 
INCH OR MORE OF RAIN POSSIBLE.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS 
IMMINENT. IF YOU ARE THREATENED BY RISING FLOOD WATERS MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF 
UNKNOWN DEPTH.
