* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  HARRIS COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 815 PM EDT

* AT 704 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN 7 MILES SOUTH OF HAMILTON...OR ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH
  OF COLUMBUS...MOVING NORTH AT 10 MPH.  THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE OVER
  AN AREA WHICH HAS ALREADY RECEIVED UP TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN...AS ESTIMATED
  BY RADAR.  ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED AS THIS STORM MOVES
  NORTH ACROSS CENTRAL HARRIS COUNTY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. TWO FEET OF RUSHING WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST VEHICLES...
INCLUDING SUVS AND PICKUPS. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD
BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
