* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL FULTON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 430 PM EDT

* AT 315 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL FROM EAST POINT
  TO PALMETTO...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 
  INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE IN THIS AREA. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT THE
  DOWNTOWN ATLANTA AND BUCKHEAD AREAS BY 4 PM EDT.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS. FLOODING OF PEACHTREE
CREEK IS POSSIBLE AS THIS HEAVY RAIN MOVES INTO THE AREA.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT FOR YOU TO PROCEED SAFELY.
