* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  LAVACA
  DEWITT

* UNTIL 900 AM CST

* AT 704 AM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
ACROSS DEWITT AND LAVACA COUNTIES...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL REMAIN IN THE 
VICINITY OF CUERO, YOAKUM AND SUBLIME.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL CONTINUING OVER DEWITT AND LAVACA 
COUNTIES.  WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS HAVE ESTIMATED 2 TO 3 
INCHES OF RAINFALL FROM WEST OF CUERO TO SOUTH OF HALLETTSVILLE.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
